External Support

The Greywood Multi-Schools Trust is made up of three successful and highly effective schools with a track record of strong achievement and superb practice.

Equally, our Trust’s school Improvement team, including primary, special and secondary trained professionals, bring to the table great expertise in their own right, but also have access to wider networks if required.

Our schools have a string of national awards and benchmarks which mark them out as being leaders in their fields and they are always aspiring to enhance and improve school practice. These range from Forest School to Eco-School, ArtsMark to Holocaust Beacon School Status, and Dyslexia Friendly to SMSC.

Elsewhere, the schools have a wide range of formally trained examiners who bring depth and rigour to their understanding and subject specialisms linked to of SATs, GCSEs, A-Levels and vocational courses. Likewise, our Trust has supported numerous leaders in externally accredited courses which develop skills and expertise both individually and across teams.

Looking more widely, our training and support for Teaching Assistant is exceptionally strong – benefitting from expertise drawn from across the Trust – and offering placements, tasters and training to broaden awareness, skills and application.

Beyond this, we have extensive ‘back office’ support which means that whether it is recruitment or Single Central Record, HR or finance, catering or site, data or communications, or more still, we have the skill-set, experience and talents to support.

Additionally, we have long-lasting partnership arrangements with local teaching schools – including the John Taylor MAT, the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership and the Sutton Park SCITT – as well as a school improvement partnership arrangement with Erasmus Darwin Academy.

Our Trust is unique in its make-up and this broad awareness and in-depth expertise means we have an exciting, effective and reliable offer to any school seeking support, ideas or partnership.
